What Is Bronze Alloy Politef?
Bronze-filled PTFE is produced by adding bronze particles to a PTFE matrix. This combination aims to balance the low-friction and chemical resistance of PTFE with the strength and durability of bronze.
Main Properties:
Durability: Bronze particles improve wear resistance and service life.
Thermal Conductivity: Better heat transfer than pure PTFE.
Mechanical Strength: Improved performance under load.
Electrical Conductivity: Bronze contributes conductive characteristics where needed.
Low Friction: Retains the natural slipperiness of PTFE.
These materials are commonly used for bearing surfaces, sealing materials, sliding bearings, and other friction-reducing applications.
40% and 60% bronze-filled PTFE grades provide better thermal conductivity, lower thermal expansion, higher wear resistance, and less deformation under load compared with pure PTFE.
